This is the ONLY walking tour of the infamous federal penitentiary, known as “The Rock” narrated by Audio Cell, once home of the likes of Al “Scarface” Capone, “Machine Gun” Kelly and Robert “The Bird Man” Stroud.  Transportation to Alcatraz is provided by the Blue & Gold Fleet from The Pier. Ferries depart for Alcatraz throughout the day. The Alcatraz portion of this City Tour does not have to be taken at the same time as your City Tour or even the same day. Enjoy a one hour narrated tour of San Francisco’s most scenic neighborhoods from the deck of an authentic motorized Cable Car. Drive through San Francisco’s most scenic neighborhoods such as Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Nob Hill, Downtown Chinatown and San Francisco’s famous Waterfront. You may hop off and hop on at any of the following locations which include Pier 39,Ghirardelli Square, Nob Hill, Union Square. If you don’t care to “Hop Off” you may stay aboard and listen to narration which lasts for one hour before returning to the starting point.

TOUR #8: Drive south along *Coastal Highway 1 along the Pacific Ocean, through Half Moon Bay and the seaside town of Santa Cruz. Pass through the Salinas Valley, “Artichoke Capitol of the world” and through Monterey to visit Steinbeck’s Cannery Row with admission included to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Take some time for lunch and shopping Cannery Row. Follow the coast through Pacific Grove to **17-Mile Drive where you will visit **Pebble Beach, *Seal Rock and the legendary *Lone Cypress. Spend time in storybook Carmel, home of Clint Eastwood, with its unique boutiques, cafes and charming cottage homes. Pass by one of the oldest Spanish Missions in the country. Return to San Francisco via route 101 through San Jose and the Silicon Valley, Computer Capitol of the World!

YOSEMITE IN A DAY BY TRAIN

TOUR #5: Experience the perfect day trip from San Francisco to majestic Yosemite National Park by taking Amtrak San Joaquins and its luxury motorcoach connection. Begin your journey to Yosemite aboard a Gray Line shuttle bus to the Emeryville Station. Board the train and wind through California’s famous San Joaquin Valley, the ‘Fruit Basket of America”. At the Merced Amtrak Station, board your motorcoach, receive a complimentary box lunch and continue your narrated sightseeing of Yosemite Valley and the surrounding countryside. While following the scenic Merced River, drive through Gold Rush town, Mariposa. and into Yosemite Valley where you will board an “*open air” tram. Your Yosemite Park ranger will accompany you to Inspiration Point for a panoramic view of Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls and more.
